This site is a personal portfolio. It has no forms, no accounts and no newsletter, and it sends no email. This notice explains the little it does process when you visit.

If you write to me
If you write to contact@luisveliz.dev, from this site or otherwise, I receive your email address and what you tell me. I use them only to reply and, if we work together, for the project. I do not share them or add them to mailing lists. The basis is your own request.
What happens when you visit
Hosting and security. The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver
pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data
from each request: your IP address, browser and device details, and the page
requested. Its bot protection may set short-lived security cookies, such as
__cf_bm or cf_clearance, which are strictly necessary for that
protection. The basis is a legitimate interest in keeping the site available
and secure.
Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and measures page performance in aggregate. Cloudflare states that it uses no cookies or local storage for this and does not fingerprint visitors. The basis is a legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read.
Settings kept in your browser. The site remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme and, for a moment, where you were on the page when you reload or switch language and whether you left a “Show more” open. This stays in your browser’s storage, is never sent anywhere, and you can clear it at any time.
Fonts. The fonts are served from this site. Your browser makes no request to Google or any other font service.
Nothing else: no advertising, no third-party trackers, no social-media embeds.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and ITERA (iterasa.com) take you to sites with their own privacy policies. If you contact ITERA through its site, ITERA handles that message.
Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare is based in the United States. For these transfers it relies on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses, as described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
How long data is kept
This site stores no personal data of its own. Cloudflare keeps request and security data for the periods set out in its privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restrict or object to its processing, and complain to your data protection authority. Write to contact@luisveliz.dev. Since this site keeps no personal data itself, most requests will concern Cloudflare’s records, and I will help you direct them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
